An author and political activist believes President Donald Trump should focus on the issue of keeping Americans safe to help secure his re-election in the fall.

Marauding groups of thugs have taken to streets of Democrat-controlled cities, looting and burning businesses and other buildings and tearing down historic monuments in their wake. At the same time, Democrats continue to hinder efforts to shut down the southern border.

Even so, as violent crime and murder rates soar, New York City has cut $1 billion from its police budget. Likewise in Los Angeles, $150 million is being slashed from the LAPD budget.

David Horowitz of the David Horowitz Freedom Center and author of Blitz: Trump Will Smash the Left and Win says Trump can focus on Democrat lawlessness.

"He's going to find a lot of people who want their government to keep them safe, and they'll know that the Democrats are not going to keep them safe, let alone close their borders so that only legal immigrants come and no viruses can cross," Horowitz poses. "So I think it's a winning position."

Meanwhile, a recent Zogby poll shows that 55 percent of Americans believe Joe Biden is in the early stages of dementia.

"The Democrat Party is now supporting a senile fool with dementia, which shows how pathetic they are," the author decides. "They're just wreckers."

Horowitz says Biden will be controlled by radicals like Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D).

"Ilhan Omar is a terrorist," he asserts. "She raises money for terrorist organizations and carries on their propaganda. She's a Jew hater and an America hater who thinks that 9-11 was a just punishment for our sins."

"The Democrat Party is an anti-American, racist party," Horowitz concludes.
